I was introduced to blogging by our website design team. It is difficult to find a tone/style if you are not a natural writer and to set aside time to a blog when you have so many other things to do. But it is worth it, we have see traffic grow to our site, it has brought in sales and our ranking in google has consistently improved. Some argue that blogging is on the way out with the rise of twitter/facebook, but I still see social media experts promoting blogs as the point of reference to other social media platforms. We try to blog on a weekly basis about projects we've worked on, items we've come across related to our business and industry related items. We don't always achieve it but we do try to post at least 2 articles a month. I have different business friends who don't seem to grasp the idea of social media, they are looking for the quick fix or are not prepared to commit the time to it .
